Basics by Gianni Lauren Co is not mass made. It’s not trend-driven. It’s not made for everyone.

Each piece is handcrafted, one at a time, with fabrics curated for their texture, rarity, and mood. If the material doesn’t feel right, it doesn’t get sewn. That’s why releases are spaced and restocks are rare.

Fabric Comes First

Fabrics are chosen based on feel, drape, and depth — not what’s popular. These materials are selected in micro-batches, and once they’re gone, they’re gone. No remakes. No special requests.

What’s rare, stays rare.

The Fit

Every piece is currently cut in Medium:

• For XS–S bodies: the silhouette drapes loose, sensual, and relaxed.

• For true Mediums: expect a curve-hugging, body-conscious fit.

At this time, custom garments are only made for larger sizing, and only if fabric is available. Pricing for custom work is the equivalent of two standard dresses plus fabric cost. Customs are final sale.

Handmade, Not Factory Made

Basics is made by hand — not assembly line. Expect texture. Expect detail. Expect the beauty of things made slowly. Minor variations in stitching or finish are not defects — they’re part of the story.

No Hype. No Rush.

There is no urgency here. If a fabric doesn’t meet the standard, the release waits. This isn’t fast fashion. This is intentional wardrobe-building for those who value sensuality, stillness, and slow power.
